Utilizing computer-powered tools to reveal any domain’s fundamental intellectual structure

Božidar Vlačić is an Assistant Professor at Católica Porto Business School and an Outstanding Researcher at the Research Centre in Management and Economics (CEGE), Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Portugal). Since 2018, he has held an International Ph.D. with honors in Economic Analysis and Business Strategy from the University of Vigo, the University of Santiago, and the University of A Coruña (Spain). His main contributions have been published in journals such as the International Business Review, Journal of Business Research, Technovation, Journal of Small Business Management, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Journal of Intellectual Capital, and European Journal of International Management. He serves as an associate editor at the Technology in Society journal, associate editor of the Journal of Enterprising Communities, and editorial board member of the Strategic Change Journal. Additionally, he is an active member of the Academy of International Business, the European International Business Academy (EIBA), and co-chairs the EIBA Early Career Network.  His research encompasses three intersecting domains: the strategies employed by companies in internationalization and foreign market entry, the influence of networks and resources on decision-making within internationally operating enterprises, and the impact on innovation capabilities.
