A single authored paper titled “Can „winner-takes-most“ dynamics of regional economic integration be avoided in the Western Balkans? Lessons on resourcefulness from smaller economic agents” won the runner-up award at the LSEE-CEFTA Paper Competition 2021, organised by the London School of Economics and Political Science and the CEFTA Secretariat.
The working paper was subsequently published in April 2022 in the series “LSEE-CEFTA Research Papers on International Trade”. An article titled “Reconfiguring FDI-led growth: SMEs as emerging stakeholders in an advanced peripheral export-led growth model”, co-authored with Kori Udovički (Center for Advanced Economic Studies, Belgrade) and Pavle Medić (Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade) is currently under review in the journal Competition & Change as part of a Special Issue project titled “Development Laboratories? The Politics of Growth, Stagnation and Upgrading in Advanced Peripheral Economies”, edited by Fabio Bulfone (Leiden University), Arianna Tassinari (Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies) and Aldo Madariaga (Diego Portales University Santiago).
An article “Firm-centred, multi-level approaches to overcoming semi-peripheral constraints”, co-authored with Kira Gartzou-Katsouyanni, is due to appear in the Special Issue of the journal Studies in Comparative International Development (SCID) during the first half of 2024. The Special Issue is co-edited by Sonja Avlijaš and Kira Gartzou-Katsouyanni.
