Regional interdepartmental conference in business economics

On September 26 and 27, 2024, the traditional regional interdepartmental conference on business economics was held at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Belgrade, under the theme “Sustainable Business and Innovations – Theory, Practice, Education.” The event gathered over 120 professors and researchers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, North Macedonia, Slovenia, and Serbia.

The conference featured five keynote lectures by the EU Ambassador to Belgrade, Emmanuel Ziofre, Richard Whittington – a professor at the University of Oxford, Rob van Tulder – a professor at Erasmus University Rotterdam, Marina Dabić – a professor at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, and Milojko Arsić – a professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Belgrade. In addition to the keynote lectures and working panels, where participants presented their research findings, several panels were held with representatives from the business community. Numerous bilateral and multilateral meetings of relevant departments and faculties took place on the sidelines of the conference, where opportunities for deepening regional cooperation were discussed.
