Rođen 12. maja 1955. godine u Ivangradu, gde je završio osnovnu školu i gimnaziju. Na grupi za matematiku Prirodno-matematičkog fakulteta Univerziteta u Beogradu diplomirao 1977. godine, gde je, takođe, završio poslediplomske studije, magistrirao 1980. i odbranio doktorsku tezu 1984. godine. Školske 1978/79. godine radi kao profesor matematike u Matematičkoj gimnaziji u Beogradu, a 1979. godine je izabran za asistenta-pripravnika na Ekonomskom fakultetu Univerziteta u Beogradu, gde je u zvanje redovnog profesora izabran 1995. godine. Oblast naučno-istraživačkog rada: matematička logika (teorija dokaza, neklasične logike i logike preferencija, teorija društvenog izbora). Nastava: pored kurseva algebre, linearne algebre, analize, matematičke logike, teorije skupova i teorije sistema na redovnim studijama, držao nastavu i na poslediplomskim studijama iz teorije sistema, funkcionalne analize, metodologije naučnog istraživanja, matematičke logike i osnova matematike, teorije algoritama, automatskog dokazivanja teorema i veštačke inteligencije. Usavršavanje i gostovanja: London (Imperial College; Chelsea College of Science and Technology) (1985), Solun (Matematički fakultet, Aristotelov univerzitet) (1994), Iraklion (Matematički fakultet, Kritski univerzitet) gostujući profesor (1994/95, 1995/96), Solun (Univerzitet Makedonija) (1997), Patras (Matematički fakultet, Univerzitet Patras) gostujući profesor (1999/2000). Članstvo u udruženjima: Association for Symbolic Logic, American Mathematical Society, Balkan Logical Society, Društvo matematičara Srbije, Grčko matematičko društvo, Interest Group on Propositional and Predicate Logic, Društvo za čistu i primenjenu logiku, The Mathematical Association of America, Naučno društvo ekonomista, Društvo ekonomista Beograda itd. Stalni recenzent-saradnik časopisa Zentralblatt für MathematikMathematical Reviews i Mathematische Didaktik sa više od 500 priloga u njima. Glavni urednik časopisa Ekonomske ideje i praksa. Član redakcija časopisa Economic Annals, IMO – Istraživanje matematičkog obrazovanja i Ekonomski vidici. Spoljni saradnik Matematičkog instituta Srpske akademije nauka i umetnosti, i aktivan učesnik u radu Odeljenja za matematiku, Seminara za matematičku logiku i Seminara za istoriju i filozofiju matematike. Učesnik na mnogim međunarodnim i nacionalnim naučnim i stručnim skupovima. Autor (ili koautor) niza stručnih i metodičkih radova i učila namenjenih nastavnicima, studentima i učenicima srednjih škola, kao i monografija; organizator izložbe o Bečkom krugu i simpozijuma o njegovom uticaju na rad Beogradske logičke škole. Obavljao dužnosti prodekana za nastavu Ekonomskog fakulteta u Beogradu i šefa Katedre za statistiku i matematiku. Od 2012. do 2021. godine obavljao je dužnost dekana Ekonomskog fakulteta, a od 2021. do 2024. bio je prorektor Univerziteta u Beogradu. Koautor udžbenika za grčki jezik. Bavi se i prevođenjem (sa ruskog i grčkog jezika).

Obnavljanje gradiva iz matematike za novoupisane studente


INFORMACIJA O KOLOKVIJUMU IZ MATEMATIKE ŠKOLSKE 2024/2025. GODINE

 1. Polaganje kolokvijuma će se obaviti 30. novembra i trajaće 60 minuta.

2. Na kolokvijumu ćete birati 10 od 11 zadataka, u vidu testa, svaki po 10 poena.

3. Zadaci na drugom kolokvijumu će biti iz gradiva pređenog na vežbama zaključno sa 22. novembrom.

Kolokvijum polažete, shodno broju indeksa, isključivo po sledećem rasporedu:

1. Preliminarno testiranje će se obaviti 5. oktobra i trajaće 60 minuta.
