The Faculty of Economics also has the Sports Club Ekonomist, which has been active for several decades. Its activities were suspended in the late 1990s and revived in 2002. The Club has the male and female volleyball, basketball and handball teams, as well the male indoor football team. Great attention is also devoted to individual sports, including specifically chess, table tennis and swimming.
