SAP

It is most commonly used in large and medium-sized enterprises across various industries. SAP allows organizations to automate processes, improve efficiency and decision-making, and increase transparency and control over business operations. Benefits include real-time data integration, customizable modules according to user needs, enhanced resource management, and increased productivity, contributing to overall business success. The University of Belgrade is a member of the SAP University Alliances, providing 1,000 licenses. Of these, 250 licenses are available annually to students in courses such as ERP Software, Marketing Logistics, and Banking Operations and Payments, who have the opportunity to earn an SAP certificate if they achieve the required number of points in the program during the semester.
Microsoft Office 365
The University of Belgrade is listed as a qualified academic institution by Microsoft. Based on this, students at the Faculty of Economics and Business can obtain a free Microsoft Office 365 A1 license, which includes using applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote online, while Teams and OneDrive applications can be installed locally on a computer or tablet. It is most commonly used in construction, IT and telecommunications, manufacturing, and service industries. It enables the creation of timelines, resource and budget schedules, and progress tracking through Gantt charts and other visualizations. Benefits include improved organization, better team communication, efficient time and resource management, and increased productivity and project success. The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business provides licenses annually to students in courses such as Project Management and Information Systems Design.
Stata
Stata is a complete, integrated statistical software package that provides everything you need for data analysis, data management, and graphical presentation of results. It is most commonly used in economics, sociology, epidemiology, biomedical research, and political science. Stata allows users to perform complex statistical analyses, regressions, time series, panel data, and survival analysis. Benefits include easy management of large datasets, a wide range of statistical functions, the ability to program and customize analyses, and high precision and speed in data processing, facilitating informed decision-making based on analytical results. The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business has provided 26 licenses for Stata version 16, installed in computer lab D, used for teaching several courses at all study levels.
Eviews
Eviews is a modern package for econometrics, statistics, and forecasting that offers powerful analytical tools within a flexible, easy-to-use interface. Using Eviews, you can quickly and efficiently manage your data, perform econometric and statistical analyses, generate forecasts or model simulations, and create high-quality graphs and tables for publication or inclusion in other applications. The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business has provided a Lab license for Eviews, allowing the use of the latest version of the program. The program is installed in computer lab D and is used for teaching several courses at all study levels.
SPSS
SPSS is a software for statistical data analysis used in social sciences, healthcare, marketing, education, and many other fields. It allows users to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets. It is most commonly used for descriptive statistics, regression analyses, variance analysis, and factor analysis. Benefits include powerful analytical capabilities, easy data management, visualization of results through graphs and tables, and an intuitive interface that facilitates working with complex statistical methods. The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business has provided 90 licenses for SPSS version 25, installed in computer labs E and D, used for teaching various undergraduate and master’s courses.
Think-Cell
Think-Cell is an add-in for Microsoft Office that simplifies creating professional charts and data visualizations. It is most commonly used in business analysis, consulting firms, and corporations. Think-Cell enables the quick and easy creation of complex charts such as waterfall diagrams, Gantt charts, and pie charts. Benefits include time savings, improved data presentation, automated chart updates, and integration with presentation software such as PowerPoint, enabling more efficient presentation and analysis of business information. The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business and Think-Cell have made the software available to professors, staff, and students for academic and non-profit use. LSEG EIKON
LSEG EIKON is a platform that offers a vast number of financial indicators globally and is one of the market leaders. It is most commonly used in banks, investment firms, research institutions, and corporations. It provides access to real-time data, news, analytics, and visualization tools, facilitating informed investment decisions. Benefits include improved market analysis, accurate forecasts, faster access to relevant information, and integration with other financial tools, giving users a competitive advantage in the market. The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business has a license for accessing the database. Access to the platform is only possible from the faculty. If a student wishes to access the database, they must contact the library staff.
PKS PARTNER Database
PKS PARTNER is a comprehensive online business portal with business information on all registered economic entities in Serbia. All publicly available data about companies (from multiple online sources) are aggregated, processed, and prepared for additional functionalities to allow users to use business information through a web application easily and conveniently. Master’s students have access to the database from the Faculty of Economics and Business library. For information on how to log into the portal, it is necessary to contact the library staff of the Faculty of Economics and Business.
CESIM Business Simulation
CESIM Business Simulation is an educational tool designed to simulate business operations in various industries, including management, marketing, finance, and operations. It is most commonly used in educational institutions, master’s programs, and corporate training. CESIM allows participants to assume managerial roles, make strategic decisions, and track the consequences of their decisions in a virtual business environment. Benefits include improved analytical and strategic skills, a better understanding of business processes, enhanced teamwork, and decision-making based on simulated data, preparing participants for real business situations. The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business has provided a license for the Hospitality version of this simulation for teaching marketing, tourism, and hospitality courses.
COBISS
COBISS – the joint catalog of libraries in Serbia. The Faculty of Economics and Business library has been part of the COBISS.SR library information system since November 2018. Users can search anytime and anywhere, gaining insight into the availability of the requested publication in the faculty or other libraries.
Search requests should be as precise as possible, considering our needs when searching for materials. The search can be performed by title, author, year of publication, keywords, etc. The following link provides help when searching electronic catalogs:

How to reserve selected materials?
- For students to reserve materials from anywhere, they need to join the library. Send your details (scanned first page of the index, residential address, contact phone, email address) to olivera.jevtic@ekof.bg.ac.rs and marina.milosevic@ekof.bg.ac.rs or come in person to the library. Upon joining, they will receive a code necessary for electronic reservation of books and using the services (My COBISS). After the reservation, an email will be sent to pick up the desired publication.
KoBSON
KoBSON – the electronic library of the scientific-research community of Serbia – currently provides users with access to over 35,000 foreign scientific journals, over 160,000 book titles, and several indexed databases (Web of Science, Scopus…). Searching on the KoBSON portal can be done by the word in the journal or book title, subject area, ISSN, or ISBN number. Most journals are available in full text from 1997, while earlier issues are available up to the abstract level. The KoBSON portal is available free of charge and without authentication to everyone from the academic IP domain in Serbia. Since 2004, remote access (“from home,” via a commercial provider) has also been enabled. All employees in academic and scientific institutions founded by the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Science scholarship holders are entitled to a personal license. Obtaining a license is free, and the request is sent to the librarian. Students can search from home; it is only important that after the search, they send the selected titles to olivera.jevtic@ekof.bg.ac.rs or marina.milosevic@ekof.bg.ac.rs. The following data are required alongside each title: the author’s name, the journal title, and the publication year. After sending the list, the librarians will email you everything available in full text.
SCIndeks
SCIndeks – the Serbian citation index is a citation database with full-text papers. In addition to basic bibliographic data, it contains abstracts and references for all papers. It refers to domestic journals categorized as periodic publications of a scientific nature. Articles published in journals that have achieved a certain quality level and adopted open access as a publishing regime are additionally presented and available to everyone in full text.
