Born in Vranje in 1953. Finished elementary school in Varazdin and high school in Belgrade . Graduated from Belgrade Faculty of Science and Mathematics, course Mathematics, in 1976. Got the MSc degree in 1980, and the PhD degree in 1990.
Previous positions: secondary school "Jezdimir Lovric", teacher of Mathematics (1976-1980); Serbian Institute of Statistics, electronic data processing designer, (1980-1995); Automobile Association of Yugoslavia, computer centre manager (1985-1994); Belgrade Faculty of Economics, Assistant Professor (1994-1999), Associate Professor (1999-).

Other professional activities: Member of the Scientific Society of Yugoslav Economists, Serbian Statistical Society and Tourist Forum of Yugoslavia. In the period 1985 – 1990, he was a member of project teams for introduction of international information systems for electronic data exchange and took an active part in their conferences in the Hague, Munich, Paris, Rome and Copenhagen. Used to be the Head or a member of expert teams for designing over 40 information systems in the country and abroad ( New York , Zurich , Berlin ).
