Born in 1951 in Jasa Tomic, where he finished elementary school. Finished high school in Secanj in 1970. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Belgrade , in 1975. Got the MSc degree in 1980, and the PhD degree in 1988.
Previous positions: Institute "Kirilo Savic", Assistant Trainee; Belgrade Faculty of Economics, Teaching Assistant Trainee (1976-1980), Teaching Assistant (1980-1989), Assistant Professor (1989-1995), Associate Professor (1995- ).
Professional improvement and advanced training: London (1987).
Teaching commitments: Belgrade Faculty of Economics, undergraduate studies, subjects - Economics of Yugoslavia, Social planning and Industrial economics. Also taught at departments of the Faculty of Economics in Sabac and Uzice, at Quartermaster Corps Academy , as well as at the Faculty of Management.
Other professional activities: an associate member of the Scientific Association of Yugoslav Economists and of Scientific Association "Kosta Cukic". Moreover, he used to be a secretary and a member of editorial board of journal Ekonomist (Economist).
