Born in Samac in 1953. Finished elementary and high school in Tuzla. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Belgrade, in 1975, as the best student of her generation. Got the MSc degree in 1980, and the PhD degree in 1988.
Previous positions: Belgrade Faculty of Economics, Teaching Assistant Trainee (1976-1980), Teaching Assistant (1980-1989), Assistant Professor (1989 - 1995), Associate Professor (1995 - ).
Professional improvement and advanced training: The London School of Economics and Political Science.
Teaching commitments: Belgrade Faculty of Economics, subject - Economics of Yugoslavia; also taught Industrial economics and Social planning. Used to teach at the department of The Faculty of Economics in Sabac and at Quartermaster Corps Academy.
Research interests: problems of economic growth and development, unemployment, poverty, inequality, living environment.
