He graduated from Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade , in 1991 ( GPA 9.73 out of 10.00), specializing in international and domestic trade. During his studies, he was awarded scholarship as a participant in The Program for Young Talents organized by the Government of Serbia.
He acquired a Master's degree in 1995 with the thesis “The Choice of Retail Buying Strategy”. As a postgraduate student, he won the Sasakawa Foundation scholarship.
Bogetic earned a doctorate in business administration – thesis:”Models of category management in channels of distribution” – in February 2006 at The University of Belgrade Faculty of Economics. (His mentor was Prof. S. Lovreta, PhD.)
Since October 21st 1991, Bogetic has worked full-time at The Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade where he acquired the academic title 'docent' (assistant professor) on October 10th, 2006. He teaches the following courses: Marketing Channels, Trade Management, Trade Marketing and Sales Management, and Supply Chain Management.
From 1993 to September 2002, he worked part-time as assistant lecturer at BK Faculty of Management where he taught Marketing.
Bogetic is a guest lecturer at Belgrade Open School and Alternative Academic Educational Network.
At the Mediteran University Faculty of Business Studies ( Montenegro Business School ) in Montenegro , he teaches an undergraduate course Consumer Behavior, and he also teaches Management of Marketing Channels on the graduate program.
At The Faculty of Economics, University of Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina , as part of the SBS ( Sarajevo Business School ) program of cooperation with Griffith College Dublin, Bogetic teaches Principles of Marketing (double degree program in English language).
PARTICIPATION IN EXCHANGE PROGRAMS
From March to May 1992, Bogetic visited Limburg Business School ( Hasselt ), Belgium , as a participant in the European Union TEMPUS program (course Marketing Management). From January 27th to February 22nd 2003 , he stayed in France at ESC Marseille – Provence Graduate School of Management and ESSEC Business School ( Paris ). He was awarded a JFDP scholarship by the US Government at George Washington University, Washington DC , from August 2003 to July 2004.

Bogetic held educational seminars and training courses in various organizations, such as: Pekabeta, Beo Petrol, Evropa Lek, Interpromet, CBA Merchant Association, etc.
His current area of interest is management of channels of distribution with emphasis on product assortment, category management, supply chain management, and key account management.
