The
Faculty of Economics of the University of
Belgrade
is an educational and scientific institution
with a 70 years old tradition. Initially,
was founded as a Higher School of Economics
and Commerce in 1937 and was the first undergraduate
educational centre in economics in the Kingdom
of Yugoslavia. To day the Faculty of Economics
is the largest and most prominent institution
in the field, employing 130 teaching staff
of which 54 full tenure professors.
To date 32,000 students have graduated,
with 1600 of them advancing successfully
to the post graduate level achieving MA
degree, and 630 receiving PhD titles within
the Faculty. |
