Fields of teaching and research

His current field of professional interests includes efficiency of the firm and competitive advantage, enterprise restructuring, entrepreneurship in general and entrepreneurial restructuring in particular, as well as SME support policy.

Professor Paunović has an extensive experience in designing, monitoring and evaluation of businesses and donor-funded projects and programmes. He has worked as a consultant for various international organizations and business entities. Some of his clients were: the World Bank, UNDP PRO, European Commission, Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs, European Training Foundation, European Commission-Delegation of the Republic of Serbia, GIZ, Austrian Development Agency (ADA), Government of Serbia, Government of Vojvodina, Regional Development Agencies, NGOs, etc. As a key, senior or national expert, he participated in the creation of various policies and strategic papers of national, regional and local level concerns; analyses, evaluations, cost- benefit analyses, feasibility studies, etc.

Professor Paunović has managed and worked on more than 70 projects for the corporate sector in different fields, such as: financial analysis and implementation of International Accounting Standards, business plan development, financial management, accounting, investments, organizational restructuring and compensation system development, reconstruction, etc. He is a certified consultant for SMEs.
